Charmaine has long had a passion for the Lord and His Church. She came into the fullness of the Catholic Church having been inspired the life and ministry of by Pope St. John Paul II. She retired from a career in medicine and obtained a Master of Theology from St. Leo University. She has served as the Director of Adult Faith Formation at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle since 2019. 

She also serves as a Spiritual Director and has a passion for teaching Scripture. 

She is married to Deacon John Carter, and together they have three children.
