At the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, we are committed to supporting our pregnant and new mothers as well as their babies. The St. Jude Columbiettes have partnered with Foundations of Life, a branch of Catholic Charities, to provide necessities for young families. We plan to have ‘Baby Showers’ quarterly in an effort to keep the pantry bins stocked with necessities.
Our first Baby Shower is September 20, 2026.
There will be collection bins around the Cathedral and in the Cathedral Center starting August 22, 2026. You are invited to participate in serving these women and their children.
The items most needed are:
- Diaper sizes most needed: 4, 5, 6
- Baby Wipes
- Boy and girl clothing sizes 6 months – 24 months
- Diaper rash ointment
- 8 oz Baby bottles (glass and plastic)
- Baby toys 6 months – 24 months
- Gift cards: Target, Walmart, UBER
- Infant Formula
- Similac 360 total care-blue can
- Enfamil A.R-pink can
- Enfamil Gentlease- purple can
