Mission: The Environment Ministry enhances the worship spaces as appropriate for ceremonies and liturgical seasons to provide a setting that will be conducive to meaningful worship.
What do we do: The ministry prepares and decorates the Cathedral and Our Lady’s Chapel for the liturgical seasons and services. The members select and maintain the plants that provide a feeling of warmth and welcome to the Cathedral. The plants are watered and maintained weekly, with occasional fertilizing, repotting and pest control.
Membership: Membership is open to all who have a desire to serve.
Meetings: Planning meetings are held prior to liturgical seasons or events.
Training/Preparation: New members are trained by members of the existing team.
