Mission: Faith Community Nursing (FCN) is a recognized specialty by the American Nurses Association. Faith community nurses are pastoral, spiritually mature, licensed registered nurses who support the health of the Cathedral parishioners by their work and educational activities.
What do we do: The ministry at St. Jude Cathedral offer Blood Pressure screenings once per month, provide education, and answer questions. The ministry also provides flu shots each year.
Membership: Members are required to hold active Florida RN licenses and attend monthly meetings.
Leaders are required to attend FCN Foundation Education provided by St. Anthony’s Hospital and attend FCN monthly meetings.
