Mission
Teams of Our Lady is part of an international lay movement in the Catholic Church, designed to enrich marriage spirituality and make good marriages better. Teams provide a proven method of increasing and improving prayer life, which will help couples grow closer to God and each other.
What do we do?
Five to seven couples and a Spiritual Counselor or Adviser (a Priest, Deacon, or Sister) comprise a team that meets monthly for a communal meal. The group prays together and discusses a study topic. Between meetings, each couple uses a set of Endeavors, such as reading scripture and praying together, to strengthen their marriage and their faith life.
Membership
Membership is open to sacramentally married couples.
Meetings
Meetings are scheduled monthly by the members of the team. Meetings generally rotate each month to a different couple’s home.
Training/Preparation
New members are accompanied by current members through their first year of meetings.
