Fr. Andrew Burns will provide a teaching on the nature of the Eucharistic covenant, from which flows the implications about receiving Communion:
- the need to receive in the state of grace
- the need for confessing mortal sin before receiving Communion
- why the Church specifically teaches denial of Communion to people in irregular unions
