We are so grateful for the generous support of our parish family.
What do we do: Weekly meetings are scheduled throughout the school year for participants. Weekend retreats at the Bethany Center and weeklong retreats at Life Teen summer camps are offered.
The Leader coordinates weekly meetings, prepares the annual calendar, organizes weekend retreats at the Bethany Center and weeklong retreats at Life Teen summer camps, maintains communication with families and the parish through social media, Flocknotes, and the parish bulletin.
Members support the leader by leading small groups, assisting with set-up and clean-up for weekly meetings, engaging in relational ministry with teens, chaperoning retreats, and praying for the ministry.
You can support youth ministry in a variety of ways, such as applying to be a Core Team member, donating a meal, providing a scholarship for a retreat, and, of course, through prayer.
Membership: Membership is open to parishioners willing to teach and accompany teens on a spiritual journey.
Meetings: Core team meetings are scheduled every 6 weeks.
Training/Preparation: Leaders and members must pass a background check, level II fingerprinting, and complete Safe Environment Training.
Annual training is done at the Life Teen’s Empower Conference.
