Mission: The Hospitality Ministry serves God and the Cathedral by being the spiritual ambassadors of worship to the parishioners as they enter the Cathedral for Sunday Mass. The Hospitality team members extend the love of Jesus as they fulfill the duties of the ministry.
What do we do: Members warmly greet and assist in seating the people as they arrive for Mass, especially those with mobility challenges. Some members are assigned to collect the offerings and present them at the Offertory. They provide guidance to the altar to those receiving the Eucharist. At the close of Mass, Hospitality team members distribute the parish bulletin as the people leave the Cathedral.
Membership: Membership is open to both men and women.
Meetings: As needed.
Training/Preparation: New members are trained by Hospitality Team members.
