The Cathedral Children’s Choir is a broadly conceived educational opportunity for children that integrates musical training and Christian formation while nurturing development of the whole person. They sing one Sunday Mass, every month during the school year, as well as special liturgies, such as Christmas Eve, Easter Sunday, First Communion, Thanksgiving Eve, and others.
Rehearsals are on Tuesday afternoons immediately after school from late August through mid-May. All children in the parish, grades 3 through 8 (boys to voice change) are welcome to join. The children must have excellent reading skills and good behavior.
