The Book of Tobit is a captivating story set soon after the Assyrian Empire has conquered the Northern Kingdom of Israel in 721 BCE.

We will be introduce to and journey with two righteous Jewish families living in exile: Tobit and his family in Nineveh, and Sarah in Ecbatana. We will find both Tobit and Sarah have spiraled down into a state of both temporal and spiritual desolation. We will witness divine intervention by the Archangel Raphael who will provide the help they need to move from desolation to consolation.

We will also explore St. Ignatius’ 14 Rules of Discernment during our study.

Journey alongside Tobit, Sarah, and their families as they navigate trials with unwavering faith, encountering angelic intervention and heartwarming redemption.

Classes meet Thursdays at 7:00pm beginning on June 26
