Adult Confirmation Ministry engages and informs adults who are seeking the sacrament of Confirmation in the Roman Catholic Church. Classes provide the foundational teachings of the Catholic Church and prepare adults to make a Profession of Faith.
Adult Confirmation Preparation sessions are designed for those individuals 15 years and older who have been baptized Catholic and would like to complete their initiation into the Catholic church and complete their sacraments.
These sessions are also intended for those individuals who have been baptized in a non-Catholic faith, who have been attending and participating in the Catholic church.
These 6-week sessions are held three times per year and cover key foundational topics about the Catholic faith. The class setting is informal, and questions are encouraged. Class materials are provided, including a syllabus, didactic materials, a Catholic Bible, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Confirmation are offered at the end of these 6-week sessions.
